Welcome to Integrated Men, a safe space for developing and sharing your authentic self. I am Adeel George, the creator, and organizer of the Integrated Men community. While I am a user experience professional by trade, I have found my true passion in helping men change the mental models that have been impressed on them since birth.
Helping people has always been a part of my DNA. Whether it is providing a different perspective or just a listening ear, I’ve always been open to those who need me. After my difficult divorce in 2013, I did a lot of soul searching that led me down a path of self-discovery. This made me realize a more specific purpose: assisting men to not only discover their purpose and passion in life but also guide them to develop a better relationship with themselves and others around them.
Since my life changed so drastically in 2013, I have done my own internal work in therapy, working with experienced coaches, and pursuing a degree in psychology. I have developed a better understanding of where men are in their lives and what impacts their relationships. I have lived on three different continents and traveled extensively, and met amazing people from different cultures and positions along life’s path. Through my experiences over the past eight years, I have met and spoken to over a thousand men about their needs, wants, and challenges. This wealth of experience has given me unique insights into the struggles that men face and what they can do to better their lives and relationships. I know that I, too, am a work in progress, and every day, every interaction gives me a chance to learn something new about myself and those around me.
I created this community of men to provide support as we challenge and inspire each other to beat societal norms and views of masculinity and create authentic, happy lives full of communication, vulnerability, and connection. Every week we hear about men taking great strides despite internal resistance. I see men of all ages choose to join this movement of becoming authentic men that live better for themselves and their families. While I can’t change every man’s life, I have a goal of helping 10,000 men change their lives and relationships. I know that a true, authentic man is a better leader, partner, and friend. He approaches life with loving-kindness, not needing to control everything around him. He understands the masculine and feminine energies that the world within and around him embodies and is not afraid to tap into both.
What started off as my own internal struggle from childhood trauma and relationship strive has led me to this place of helping men recognize that they have a chance to break the unhealthy cycles of pain and suffering that have afflicted them through the ages.
It’s time to break the societal norms and become modern men that are more aware and in tune with the world around us. It’s time to build awareness of the wonderful gifts of the divine masculine and feminine around us, and see how we can live richer lives by embracing them.
