We are going to continue our discussion about Anxiety from the previous discussions. Taking material from Dr. Glover’s Dating Essentials for Men, we are going to talk about strategies to soothe anxiety. In Chapter 6, Dr. Glover presents a number of techniques you can use to soothe yourself anytime you feel anxious. Any time you get outside of your comfort zone, you will feel some degree of anxiety. This is normal. This is what life is about. As long as you are growing and challenging yourself, anxiety will be a familiar companion. Remember we aren’t trying to eliminate anxiety, the goal is to effectively learn how to soothe it as you take bold action in life.
Access the event notes and recording and listen to it in your own time. This allows you to refresh or review the material or in case you were unable to attend it live, still be able to quickly review the learning in your own time.
Our Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday nights (a minimum of 48 weeks per year) 6 - 8 pm via Zoom. They are split into two parts, the check-ins, followed by the presentation and discussion on the topic of the night.
