This week at Integrated Men we’re facing our perfectionism.
We have been talking about how the masculine is internally validated by action, getting things done, and solving problems, but perfectionism takes this masculine ability to a toxic level.
Perfectionism is a trait that makes life an endless report card on accomplishments or looks. It is a trait borne out of seeking validation.
When healthy, it can be self-motivating and drive you to overcome adversity and achieve success. When unhealthy, it can be a fast and enduring track to unhappiness.
Perfectionism has its roots in shame and the fear of being disliked.
We’re discussing the steps one must take in order to let go of the toxic shame and free yourself up to live a better life.
Join us this week to tackle perfectionism in a healthy manner so you can make progress in your life and move into higher masculine.
Access the event notes and recording and listen to it in your own time. This allows you to refresh or review the material or in case you were unable to attend it live, still be able to quickly review the learning in your own time.
Our Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday nights (a minimum of 48 weeks per year) 6 - 8 pm via Zoom. They are split into two parts, the check-ins, followed by the presentation and discussion on the topic of the night.
Here you will find the information about our upcoming and past meetings. If you are a community member, you will have access to the presentation notes and recordings.
