This is a continuation of the boundaries conversation from last week. This week we are going to address boundaries. This is a difficult topic to grasp for most people and especially Nice Guys. We believe that if we set boundaries people would not like us anymore. And when Nice Guys do make attempt to set boundaries they do it in a kamikaze way. That is it’s either my way or the high way. This approach to setting boundaries does not go well in building healthy connections with the people we care for. What we need to remember is that boundary setting is about us and not others. It is about communicating how we would like to be treated and not about controlling others’ behaviour. Learning to set healthy boundaries is an essential skill in many a day to day human interactions and will have a positive impact on your life if you put the work into building these skills. Let’s get together to discuss what entails healthy boundaries and talk about some examples of situations and how to set boundaries in these instances.

Our Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday nights (a minimum of 48 weeks per year) 6 - 8 pm via Zoom. They are split into two parts, the check-ins, followed by the presentation and discussion on the topic of the night.
